Wire Harness Designer

📋 Description

• Create wiring diagrams and associated wire harness drawing documentation using Mentor Graphics
• Understand and implement communication protocols (ARINC, CAN, Ethernet, Serial)
• Follow industry best practices and guidance for the design and installation of the wire harnesses
• Work with avionics, power plant and electrical engineering teams to define the system architecture
• Generate wiring harness designs for test lab specific needs (tap ins, relays, data logging
• Use your knowledge of industry standard components to select optimal parts to suit specific design

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in engineering and design of aircraft wiring
• Experience using Wiring CAD software: Mentor Graphics Capital, HarnessXC and Logic
• Hands on experience in the processes involved in fabricating, installing, and inspecting harnesses
• Effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and
