📋 Description

• Develop and maintain semantic infrastructure for enterprise clinical data, including metadata
• Design, extend, and govern clinical ontologies and controlled vocabularies, establishing modeling
• Apply semantic interoperability principles to ensure clinical information can be exchanged and
• Develop, test, and validate mappings and crosswalks between local, national, and international
• Build and maintain knowledge management resources such as data dictionaries, knowledge bases
• Provide expert oversight of healthcare integration standards and determine which standards should

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in health or biomedical informatics, information or computer science, library and
• At least 10 years of analysis and/or management experience in one or more health sciences
• At least 5 years of experience applying ontology and semantic interoperability concepts to clinical
• Demonstrated experience working with healthcare standards bodies or standards such as SNOMED CT
• Proven experience developing semantic infrastructure, including metadata, ontology standards
• Expert-level knowledge of healthcare integration standards and implementation practices
