📋 Description
- Lead physical technical site surveys at military installations across CONUS and potentially OCONUS
- Assess existing network infrastructure, including fiber and copper cabling, patch panels, conduit
- Develop comprehensive Site Survey Reports (SSRs), Installation Design Plans (IDPs), floor plans
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement, logistics, and upcoming hardware
- Create and maintain technical drawings and network diagrams using Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD.
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot IT hardware and associated software, including routers
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, combined with
- Demonstrated experience conducting technical site surveys in Department of Defense or federal
- Active Secret security clearance is required to start; Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Strong experience with military or government IT infrastructure, networking, systems integration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for network diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, and related
- Strong understanding of power and environmental requirements, including NEMA plugs, UPS sizing, BTU
