Litigation & Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Manage/execute all aspects of litigation and other matters (e.g., subpoenas, demands)
• Conduct factual investigation, case analysis, exposure analysis
• Review pleadings and other litigation-related documents
• Lead discovery process and fact gathering, including witness preparation
• Work with outside counsel to implement nuanced and efficient litigation strategy
• Provide compliance counseling to the operations teams to mitigate litigation risk

🎯 Requirements

• JD degree and CA bar admission in good standing
• 5+ years of substantive litigation experience, including employment matters
• Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act, criminal law, or international employment counseling is
• Interest and enthusiasm towards new technologies and leveraging AI
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, with strong attention to detail, sound judgment
• A pragmatic strategist who assesses risk in the context of the company’s goals and communicates
