Senior Database Administrator – DB2 Logical

📋 Description

• Provide expert DB2 application DBA support for mainframe clients, covering database creation
• Diagnose and resolve DB2 SQL and database performance issues, including optimization initiatives
• Maintain operational excellence and production stability across online and batch environments
• Perform day-to-day database administration activities, including backups, restores, space and
• Plan and implement database changes required to support business growth, application projects, new

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, with 10+ years of
• Extensive experience administering and supporting Mainframe DB2 environments, including multiple
• Demonstrated expertise in DB2 performance tuning, including SQL optimization, buffer pool tuning
• Strong knowledge of DB2 control functions and experience building and supporting a broad range of
• Experience analyzing new DB2 releases and identifying functionality that can improve client
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production database issues, support DB2 security
