GL Claims Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage an assigned portfolio of General Liability claims through investigation, evaluation
• Investigate coverage, liability, and damages by gathering and assessing information from insureds
• Analyze policy provisions and prepare required claim correspondence in accordance with applicable
• Evaluate claim exposures, establish and maintain appropriate reserves, and negotiate fair and
• Coordinate with defense counsel, experts, and external service providers on complex or litigated
• Identify and pursue appropriate recovery opportunities, including contribution and subrogation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant professional experience in claims or insurance.
• Five or more years of commercial General Liability claims handling experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating and resolving bodily injury and third-party property damage claims preferred.
• Experience handling General Liability claims across Southern U.S. jurisdictions is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of claims investigation, coverage analysis, exposure evaluation, negotiation, and
