Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP) - Senior Living Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients
• Develop a treatment plan based on evaluation and physician's orders.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan, and participate in the
• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care

🎯 Requirements

• Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina
• Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing
• Equivalent educational requirements and work experience necessary for certificate, awaiting ASHA
• Completed necessary work and education requirements, and in process of accumulating supervised work
• Solid computer skills
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
