Senior/Staff Systems Engineer, Platform Systems

📋 Description

• Lead system-level requirements definition, architecture design, integration strategy, and
• Characterize and quantify system performance for that area: define nominal targets, minimum
• Recommend operating constraints for current and future ODDs on different vehicle platforms — for
• Define and quantify test coverage for your area, including the realism and relevance of proposed
• Partner with software teams to define interfaces, performance metrics, failure modes, and
• Collaborate with hardware and EE teams and external vendors on component selection

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of how robotic systems work and ability to leverage this knowledge to plan for
• 3+ years of experience in one of the platform areas — autonomy sensors, AV compute, motion control
• Experience testing in HIL environments or on road testing.
• Hands on experience in systems engineering.
• Ability to read code in C++ and write code in Python / MATLAB.
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
