School-Based Mental Health Technician (K-5)

📋 Description

• Provide mental health support in K-5 at Orange School District
• Support students’ academic success and resilience through behavioral health services
• Co-facilitate group interventions and student support sessions under clinician guidance
• Monitor and track student progress; report to interdisciplinary team
• Assist with crisis response and referrals as directed
• Maintain in-classroom documentation and data collection

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant school or clinical experience supporting student behavioral health
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques
• Experience collaborating with families and community providers
