Software Engineer, CDP - Payment Acceptance

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and the React/Next.js merchant-facing
• Build and refine the buyer checkout UI (payment links, embeddable web components, wallet connection
• Implement durable, fault-tolerant payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlement, refunds
• Instrument every change with structured logs, metrics, and Datadog traces, and own on-call rotation
• Partner with Product, Design, and engineering teams (CDP, Base, Coinbase Business) to integrate

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems in
• Demonstrated experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design
• Proven track record designing APIs (protobuf/gRPC, REST, OpenAPI) and instrumenting production
• Experience building durable workflow systems (Temporal, Cadence, or Step Functions) or working with
• Consistent record of writing clear design docs, PR descriptions, and runbooks that enable
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs
