Lead TRS Mentor

📋 Description

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to child care providers, teachers, and
• Deliver in-person and virtual training on early childhood education, Texas Rising Star (TRS), and
• Obtain and maintain certification as a TECPDS Registered Trainer and Texas Rising Star Mentor.
• Partner with child care providers to develop and implement Continuous Quality Improvement Plans
• Support providers in improving instructional practices through data analysis, assessments, and
• Prepare, explain, and administer provider contracts and maintain accurate provider records and case

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Child
• Minimum three years of experience in early childhood education, Head Start, Early Head Start, child
• Knowledge of child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and child care licensing
• Experience delivering adult training, coaching, and technical assistance preferred.
• Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and case management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
