📋 Description
- Own complex telephony integrations and ensure reliable, high‑quality voice experiences for
- Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize telephony integrations with CCaaS/CPaaS platforms.
- Act as primary technical point of contact post-onboarding, guiding customers and resolving issues
- Investigate call failures and voice issues using PCAP, SIP traces, carrier logs, and
- Identify root causes of reliability, signaling, and media issues; propose technical improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering/product teams to improve platform and establish best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years as Telephony/VoIP engineer or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of the SIP protocol (RFC 3261) and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in RTP and voice‑media troubleshooting; proficient with PCAPs and Wireshark/TShark.
- Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, firewalls, connectivity.
- Experience with modern CPaaS/CCaaS platforms (e.g., Twilio, Plivo, Telnyx).
- Ability to script routine tasks in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
