Senior Database Administrator - DB2 Logical

📋 Description

• Provide premium DB2 DBA support for mainframe DB2 systems for Ensono clients.
• Perform database creation, development, administration and tuning for development, test and
• Day-to-day maintenance: backups, restores, monitor growth, reorganizations, DR procedures, and
• Optimize DB2 performance, including reporting and evaluating database configurations.
• Collaborate with development/production teams and support performance testing and tuning.
• Participate in 24x7x365 support and client migrations when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 10+ years DB2 administration and application support experience.
• Expertise with Mainframe DB2, DB2 performance tuning, control functions, and multi-subsystem
• Experience with CA, BMC, and IBM DB2 tools; strong policies/procedures for DB2 management, DR
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and ability to handle
