- Lead applied research projects with quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Develop and pursue new research opportunities and client engagements.
- Own delivery of project deliverables with timelines and quality control.
- Provide research leadership to team members and Foster learning.
- Shape research strategy and new methodologies for impact.
- Offer subject-matter expertise in disaster resilience, climate adaptation, insurance, and disaster
🎯 Requirements
- Master's or PhD in disaster science, actuarial science, geoinformatics, emergency management
- Deep knowledge of disaster insurance models and disaster finance.
- Strong understanding of resilience factors across social, institutional, and infrastructure
- Experience with climate hazard modelling (flooding, wildfire, etc.) is a plus.
- GIS tools knowledge (QGIS) and qualitative analysis tools (NVivo) are assets.
- Advanced Excel and ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights.
