Job Description
📋 Description
- Support construction and fabrication projects, especially oil and gas infrastructure, with welding
- Interpret regulatory requirements, industry codes, and customer specs related to welding and
- Monitor welding parameters and assist with PQRs and WPSs under supervision.
- Prepare internal work orders communicating testing requirements with traceability of samples and
- Interpret lab test results and provide technical information under supervision.
- Conduct welder performance qualification testing under supervision and ensure compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing
- Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency (ABSA) required.
- CSA W178.2 Level 2 Welding Inspector Certificate of Compliance required.
- Eligible to register for T.T., C.E.T., or E.I.T. status.
- Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication practices, materials, and technical
- Ability to interpret welding specs, codes, and lab results accurately.
