📋 Description

• Fit steel layouts according to specifications
• Read blueprints and layout specs
• Welding torches and tools; perform GMAW
• Operate cranes or hoists to position parts
• Ensure joints meet visual/ultrasonic inspection
• Capable of reading welding symbols

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Interpret blueprints and read a tape measure
• Welding certification or prior welding experience; pass Welder II test
• Capable of producing complete penetrations per AWS D1.1
• Read welding symbols and prepare joints per code
• Read shop drawings; operate cranes and welding equipment
