Lead Product Designer, Marketplace

📋 Description

• Own marketplace discovery end-to-end, from opportunities to shipping experiences.
• Shape design strategy for a two-sided marketplace balancing creator and consumer needs.
• Design AI-driven discovery experiences: personalization, recommendations, trust signals.
• Connect product systems across community, creator, content, engagement, and marketplace dynamics.
• Prototype rapidly and iteratively using AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure feasible, scalable designs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with shipped products and impact on direction.
• Proven marketplace or two-sided platform experience with supply and demand dynamics.
• Experience owning a product area at senior/lead level with autonomy.
• Strong 0→1 product development experience from exploration to launch.
• Understanding of marketplace discovery: search, ranking, recommendations, trust, conversion.
• Fluency with AI-assisted prototyping using Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Lovable, or similar tools.
