Senior Software Engineer - Vector Search - Elasticsearch

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives to advance Elasticsearch vector search capabilities.
• Contribute to speed, relevance, and new search features across the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Java experience and solid knowledge of standard libraries and concurrency concepts.
• Experience with vector similarity, vector databases or search systems; familiarity with HNSW, IVF
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Ability to design and own cross-functional initiatives and guide projects end-to-end.
• Proven track record of shipping code in distributed teams with asynchronous collaboration.
• Autonomy in technical design and collaboration across teams.
