Senior Threat Analyst

📋 Description

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts generated by the Sophos security stack (EDR/XDR).
• Lead and mentor Tier I Analysts through escalated cases, ensuring thorough investigation practices.
• End-to-end analysis of suspicious activity to assess scope, impact, and risk.
• Identify and respond to cyber threats across customer environments using playbooks and tooling.
• Document findings, steps, and outcomes in the MDR case management platform.
• Threat hunting to identify potential threats across the MDR customer base.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SOC/MDR or cybersecurity-focused IT experience.
• Proficient with endpoint and network security tools (EDR, IDS/IPS, malware detection).
• Windows (workstation/server) with Linux or macOS experience; ability to interpret Windows event
• Understanding of TCP/IP, networking concepts, and traffic analysis.
• Experience with real-time incident response, threat investigations, and attacker behavior patterns.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies; ability to
