Software Engineer, Community Safety

📋 Description

• Work on Trust & Safety features to keep Lyft rides safe for riders and drivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to deliver safety features at scale.
• Lead features from idea to launch and provide solutions with strong execution.
• Unblock and communicate with internal partners to drive results.
• Write well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
• Utilize Python, Go (GoLang), and AWS to build robust services.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering/CS or related field, or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience in object oriented programming, ideally in GoLang or Python.
• Experience in backend software development of distributed systems and concurrency.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners.
