📋 Description
- Backend development and infrastructure at scale on Seesaw Core Systems
- Develop Python HTTP backend (Tornado) with data in Dynamo, Elasticsearch, Redis
- Contribute to AWS provisioning via infrastructure-as-code
- Drive distributed systems decisions; own work from inception to production
- Improve observability, tooling, security, and reliability of the platform
- Collaborate with senior engineers, PMs, and stakeholders on roadmaps
🎯 Requirements
- 7+ years backend experience; systems-thinking-focused
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts
- Familiarity with AWS core services (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, ECS/EKS) or similar
- Proficient with CI/CD, preferably GitHub Actions
- Self-starter with independent, proactive work style
- Experience owning infra for high-scale software (billions of requests/month)
