Grain Inspector Level 1 (Union Casual Position)

📋 Description

• Casual, 4-24 hours per week in grain inspection/testing
• Log-in, organize, store, distribute and dispose of samples
• Clean samples and prepare for grading
• Pickup/delivery of samples to/from offices or clients
• Operate, calibrate and maintain lab equipment (moisture meters, scales, dockage, testers, protein
• Perform moisture, protein, dockage, test weight, mycotoxins, germination tests

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma minimum
• 1–3 years lab or agricultural experience is a plus
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work with others and independently; detail-oriented
• Occasional extended hours, shift work and travel to other SGS/client locations may be required
