Job Description
📋 Description
- Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists; sign off output before client delivery.
- Act as senior point of contact for the team's client payrolls; assist onboarding/escalations.
- Advise clients on regulatory changes; perform regular gap analyses.
- Own the team's support queue and drive improvements against KPIs and SLAs.
- Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis; escalate major issues.
- Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities; coach team to build solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Payroll Manager in bureau/outsourced environments with enterprise
- Strong track record coaching and developing a payroll team.
- Experience managing multiple payrolls across industries within a bureau.
- Strong background in payroll compliance and audit; knowledge of payroll/HR systems and GL
- Bonus: ROI payroll experience; CIPP qualification (or in progress); AI automation experience.

- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
