General Supervisor, Prenatal

📋 Description

• Lead clinical laboratory daily supervision in alignment with company values and mission
• Oversee day-to-day operations (Pre-analytical & Analytical), scheduling, and troubleshooting
• Manage CLIA direct reports including licensed/unlicensed staff (CLS, Clinical Laboratory Assistants)
• Drive continuous process improvement: reagent QC, tech transfer, training, validations
• Coordinate communication between laboratory teams and other departments
• Participate in recruiting to meet sample volume demands

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences
• Current or previous supervisory experience overseeing lab staff
• 4-5 years CLS experience in a clinical/molecular/high-complexity setting
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License meeting CLIA Testing Personnel requirements
• Hands-on training in DNA extraction, PCR, automated liquid handlers
• Advanced knowledge of Google Docs, Word, Excel; familiarity with LIMS and NGS
