Robotics Senior Mechanical Engineer (Area 9)

📋 Description

• Lead design and integration of robotic subsystems, including high-precision actuators and chassis
• Collaborate with electrical and software teams for packaging, routing, and thermal/sensor
• Define material strategies and perform FEA, stress, and tolerance analysis
• Establish mechanical best practices, drawings control, and documentation
• Assess architectures in design reviews for manufacturability and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Shipped complex robotic/mechatronic systems with end-to-end ownership
• 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks preferred; GD&T proficiency
• Structural/thermal FEA and tolerance analysis
• Experience with CNC, injection molding, sheet metal, and additive manufacturing
• Strong cross-functional communication with firmware and leadership
