📋 Description

• Monitor security alerts and incidents; assist with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Perform initial triage of security events; escalate threats; maintain logs and incident records.
• Process access requests; run access reviews; manage authentication troubleshooting.
• Support secure code review and application vulnerability assessments.
• 11-week onsite internship; majority in Lake County, IL; possible placement at other AbbVie/Allergan

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/CE/AI with cybersecurity minor or related; must be enrolled in
• Graduation December 2027 – June 2028; must stay enrolled the semester after internship and graduate
• Preferred: Python scripting; SOAR; Ansible; networking fundamentals; Windows/Linux basics.
• Ability to read/assess code (JS/Java/C#) and write securely; interest in secure API design.
• Foundational cloud security knowledge across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Previous internship or related experience; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
