📋 Description

• Lead discovery research in Gastroenterology/IBD within Immunology Discovery Research.
• Identify/validate therapeutic targets using humanized models and translational endpoints.
• Develop research and drug discovery strategies aligning with AbbVie objectives.
• Mentor teams, manage cross-functional collaborations, and communicate progress to executives.
• Drive programs from conception through preclinical stages with external partnerships.
• Shape long-term priorities and ensure high-quality experimental design and data analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s/PhD with extensive industry experience in immunology and drug discovery.
• 15+ years in drug discovery with leadership of teams/projects.
• Expert in mucosal immunology, CIVMs, and translational endpoints.
• Proven ability to manage teams across programs in a matrixed environment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and strategic planning skills.
