📋 Description

• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to produce a vector database offering with high speed and
• Contribute to Elasticsearch full time, building new search features, and fixing bugs; design new
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team focused on vector search capabilities of Elasticsearch.
• Be an expert on vector similarity in Elasticsearch to support search relevance and guide
• Work with community members worldwide on issues and pull requests, triaging or handling them

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience with vector similarity and vector databases; familiarity with HNSW, IVF or
• Strong Java skills and familiarity with core data structures, concurrency, and language features
