- Join Airbnb Payments Platform on the Ledger team, owning financial integrity and money movement.
- Design and build scalable backend services used for billions of dollars across 191 countries.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and operations to align with business needs.
- Improve development processes, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing.
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years in hands-on software engineering.
- 1+ year in Payments/Fintech backend experience is a plus.
- Experience designing and deploying high-scale payment systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or equivalent.
- Technical leadership, direction setting, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication across teams and stakeholders.
