Director of Construction

📋 Description

• Support constructability and risk reviews from due diligence through docs
• Review drawings to flag gaps, scope ambiguity, and risk
• Coordinate with architects and engineers; track deliverables
• Develop preliminary budgets, schedules, and execution plans
• Coordinate across design, permitting, construction, and turnover
• Support RFPs for contractors/consultants, bid distribution, and references

🎯 Requirements

• 2–7 years in commercial construction, general contracting, or related field
• Knowledge of drawings, specs, budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, changes
• Strong communication; ability to work with leaders and field personnel
• Willingness to be based in Houston office with travel as needed
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
