Staff Designer, Rapid Prototyping

📋 Description

• Build functional prototypes and product experiments directly in the Thunderbolt codebase.
• Translate ideas, user workflows, and enterprise needs into usable product experiences.
• Define interaction patterns for AI-powered chat, search, research, and workflow automation.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate prototyping while ensuring quality, usability, security
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and enterprise-facing teams to refine direction.
• Contribute production-quality front-end code where appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in design engineering, front-end engineering, UX engineering
• Strong front-end skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based frameworks, and
• Strong product/interaction design judgment: usability, accessibility, IA, workflow design, polish.
• Experience designing AI-enabled product experiences with user trust, output quality, and oversight
• Ability to translate ambiguous concepts into usable workflows and shipped products, balancing speed
• Experience providing technical or product leadership across cross-functional teams.
