Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP/Python) - Pet Tech Platform

📋 Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of the backend platform, managing client-facing API schemas, servers, and
• Integrate AI-powered solutions directly into core products while building and refining the agent
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions, articulating trade-offs and breaking down complex
• Design and implement core products within a PHP and Laravel API, building from OpenAPI
• Build and enhance internal backend systems in Python, including AWS Lambda microservices, in
• Support and maintain production AWS infrastructure using Terraform, managing services such as ECS

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building, operating, and scaling backend systems in production environments.
• Deep proficiency in PHP (ideally Laravel) along with working proficiency in Python.
• Mandatory AI Tooling: Hands-on experience developing features and building context workflows using
• Proven experience with event-driven and queue-based architectures, particularly utilizing AWS SQS.
• Experience running containerized services in production, ideally using Amazon ECS.
