BQS Licensed Surveyor

📋 Description

• Perform pre- and post-bunker surveys onboard vessels and shore terminals
• Measure fuel quantities using ullage, temperature, density, etc.
• Ensure adherence to standards (e.g., ISO 22192:2021) during bunkering
• Prepare and issue bunker survey reports and documentation
• Act as an independent verifier during fuel delivery
• Investigate and resolve quantity discrepancies or disputes

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold a valid Bunker Quantity Surveyor (BQS) license
• Minimum 2-5 years in bunker surveying or related marine/oil & gas role
• Strong knowledge of marine fuel systems, tank calibration, quantity measurement
• Familiarity with maritime regulations and port procedures
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
