📋 Description
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle management, patching
- Define and maintain engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability-focused
- Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
- Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
- Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
- Drive automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
- 7–10+ years engineering and operating Linux in enterprise envs (8–10 preferred).
- Deep expertise in SUSE/RHEL or equivalent across large deployments.
- Proficient with Bash and Python; Perl a plus.
- Experience with automation/IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.
- VMware vSphere experience; networking fundamentals; storage integration.
