Practice Lead: AWS

📋 Description

• Lead AWS-focused practice for open-source databases on AWS. Hands-on leadership with architecture
• Provide strategic, technically grounded recommendations to customers, balancing AWS and open-source
• Own and grow the AWS Practice, including mentoring a team and shaping service offerings and
• Serve as a trusted advisor during pre-sales, customer engagements, migrations, and cost/performance
• Collaborate with internal partnership teams (AWS) for co-sell motions and joint programs.
• Drive business outcomes: revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and Percona subscriptions.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep AWS expertise with open-source databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience in professional services, migrations, and architecture design for AWS-centric
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and capability to build a practice team.
• Excellent communication for customer advocacy and internal collaboration.
• Ability to influence product and partnerships with AWS and internal teams.
• Thought leadership in AWS/open-source database space (conferences, content).
