Manager, Engineering, Secure Build and SCS Services

📋 Description

• Lead Secure Build and SCS Services teams; ownership of delivery, team health, growth, performance
• Build a coherent portfolio plan across two roadmaps; make priorities, capacity, trade-offs, risks
• Partner with Product and stakeholders to shape strategy/roadmaps for secure build infra, developer
• Stay close to technical work to contribute to architecture, design reviews, incidents, and hands-on
• Guide technical direction with Staff and senior engineers; maintain clear decision ownership and
• Establish strong interfaces between teams: service contracts, trust boundaries, data quality

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams across multiple domains.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering in backend/infrastructure/cloud tooling.
• Proven experience leading, developing, hiring, and retaining engineers, including non-native builds.
• Leader-first management with current technical judgment for architecture discussions.
• Strong ability to balance roadmaps, capacity, and stakeholder commitments.
