Manager, Engineering, Secure Build and SCS Services (East Coast Preferred)

📋 Description

• Lead Secure Build and SCS Services teams, owning delivery, team health, growth and operational
• Turn two roadmaps into a coherent portfolio plan with explicit priorities and capacity.
• Partner with Product to shape strategy and roadmaps for secure build, Scout and Hardened Images.
• Stay close to technical work through design reviews, incidents and selective hands-on contribution.
• Align technical direction with product, security, reliability and customer priorities.
• Own interfaces between teams including trust boundaries, contracts and data quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing engineering teams across multiple domains.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering in backend, infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Experience leading and retaining engineers, including difficult performance conversations.
• Leader-first operating model with strong technical judgement for design/review across unfamiliar
• Strong backend and distributed-systems judgement; knowledge of CI/build-internals and security.
