Technical Writer - PostgreSQL

📋 Description

• Own creation of clear, accurate technical documentation across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, QA, and other writers.
• Turn complex PostgreSQL concepts into practical resources for diverse audiences.
• Write using Markdown, images, diagrams, and other formats in a docs-as-code workflow.
• Leverage AI tools to draft and refine content while maintaining quality.
• Engage with open-source communities and contribute to upstream documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as a Technical Writer producing precise documentation.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Experience documenting complex software; user-oriented docs for technical audiences.
• Markup familiarity, especially Markdown.
• Hands-on Linux experience installing/configuring database server software.
• Docs-as-code experience with Git, Jenkins, Markdown, HTML, and/or JavaScript.
