Group Financial Controller

📋 Description

• Role: Group Financial Controller in Adyen's Group Finance team, Amsterdam.
• Lead financial excellence across global footprint with automated, low-touch close.
• Redesign processes, leverage automation and modern tooling to improve controls.
• Own monthly consolidated P&L overview and explain variances with business context.
• Coordinate with FinOps, FDT, Tax, and external auditors; manage audits and intercompany framework.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in financial control, accounting, or external audit (Big 4 a plus).
• Analytical mindset; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany settlements, cross-border flows, transfer
• Strong IFRS knowledge; audit management experience.
• Process optimization and automation experience; familiarity with Workday, Workday Accounting
• Ability to manage multiple projects and think strategically to scale with growth.
