- Scale and tune high-throughput MariaDB clusters to support global expansion.
- Strengthen high-availability, disaster-recovery, and backup approaches with validated procedures.
- Automate database workflows to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
- Improve observability and alert quality across environments.
- Enhance database security with robust access controls and secure patterns.

🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years operating MariaDB/MySQL in production with tuning, replication, troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of high-availability patterns and distributed DB behavior.
- Hands-on with proxies/load balancers (HAProxy, ProxySQL, MaxScale).
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform ideal).
- Solid cloud, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes at scale.
