Principal Scientist I, Chemistry

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams for manufacturing process development and tech transfer to AbbVie’s
• Design and execute lab experiments to support program development and commercial manufacture
• Set project strategies, define responsibilities and timelines
• Provide leadership as SME for manufacturing processes and interact with cross-functional groups
• Author and review technical and regulatory CMC documents
• Collaborate with organic chemists, analytical chemists, engineers and solid-state scientists

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree with 12+ years (MS) or 6+ years (PhD) in organic chemistry
• Strong expertise in modern organic chemistry, mechanistic understanding, purification, and
• Proven scientific communication, publications, presentations or patents
• Leadership skills to guide cross-functional process development teams
