Network Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Role focuses on network hardware devices for Cloudflare's Global Network.
• Involves New Product Introduction (NPI) for hardware, device validation, and production validation
• Develops and automates test plans to meet operational needs and hardware limits.
• Collaborates across Network Engineering, Datacenter, Operations, and other teams.
• Support by reproducing bugs and testing new features and major config updates.

🎯 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or equivalent practical
• Experience evaluating and experimenting with hardware performance (testing, measurement
• Extensive experience with networking hardware architecture, validation, performance benchmarking
• Deep knowledge of data center networking protocols and Internet routing.
• Track record of driving engineering projects from idea to implementation.
• Proven ability to work with OEMs/ODMs and technology vendors.
