🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of reporting experience at newspapers, websites, or magazines.
• Washington, DC experience reporting for a subscription outlet or wire service is strongly preferred.
• Ability to scrutinize relationships among Congress, the White House, judiciary, and lobbying.
• College degree is helpful but not essential; relevant work experience matters.
• Strong writing, verbal communication, and AP style mastery.
• Deep understanding of congressional procedure, history, and culture.
