📋 Description
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across complex, multi-quarter robotics
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant software systems for
- Collaborate across engineering groups to improve vehicle safety behavior, vehicle control, and
- Partner with Robotics, Perception, Machine Learning, Hardware, Systems Engineering, and Product
- Develop robust production software using modern engineering practices: coding standards, automated
- Balance long-term architecture with near-term delivery in a fast-moving environment.
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering, including 4+ years at Principal- or Staff-level in
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS/Robotics/CE or related technical discipline.
- Expert-level C++ and Python in Linux environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2/CyberRT and robotics domains (motion planning, localization
- Strong multi-threaded C++ development with hardware/sensor interfaces (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS).
- Experience designing complex architectures and debugging hardware-software integration and edge
