Staff Full Stack Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and drive the technical architecture and roadmap for Mattermost’s core web platform across
• Set org-wide standards for AI-agentic engineering workflows and shape how the org adopts tools like
• Lead internal tooling and testing infrastructure strategy to speed delivery across the engineering
• Own testing strategy and quality bar across frontend and backend systems with design reviews and
• Drive REST and WebSocket API architecture grounded in networking fundamentals
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and product leadership on government/enterprise requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Senior full-stack development in Go and React (or similar stack) with end-to-end ownership
• Experience designing distributed/high-availability services
• Proven REST and WebSocket API design with solid networking fundamentals
• Relational DB experience including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for scaffolding, refactors
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams without formal authority
