📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of 8-10 engineers owning core trading backend services, including the matching
• Guide the team through evolution of trading stack from legacy systems to modern replacements
• Stay technically close to stack to unblock, review, and contribute to architecture discussions
• Champion performance and market data work as top priorities, while supporting broader technical
• Bring AI-assisted engineering practices into the team’s workflow
• Partner cross-functionally with product and other engineering pods to drive roadmap execution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams with technical engagement
• Hands-on experience with Linux in distributed/high-concurrency or low-latency/high-volume
• Proficiency in Rust and/or C++; comfortable with C++, Rust, Go, and Python
• Knowledge of order types, trading systems, and financial products
• Experience with Aeron or similar messaging/transport systems
• Crypto familiarity preferable
