Senior Site Reliability Engineer I

📋 Description

• Senior SRE focused on supporting Braze Ruby on Rails monolith and Go API services
• Maintain ingress fleets and API ingestion layers as main entry points for external traffic
• Lead NGINX & Kubernetes ingress infrastructure; operate high-performance routing and scaling
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable stacks
• Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and blameless RCA to improve systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering in a high-scale production environment
• Deep experience with NGINX for high-traffic proxying and ingress control
• Proficiency with Kubernetes administration, container orchestration, networking, scheduling, and
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals (disk I/O, memory, TCP/IP, processes)
• Programming/scripting skills; Ruby and/or Go preferred (or Python/Java)
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar
