📋 Description
- Develop high-performance C++ runtime for a large-scale modeling & simulation platform.
- Own core engine structure, performance, and long-term codebase evolution.
- Design and evolve an entity-component-system architecture with scheduling and queries.
- Build interfaces to integrate physics, AI, sensor, weapon, and environmental models.
- Implement multithreaded, task-based execution to parallelize workloads.
- Develop tooling to inspect entities, debug, profile costs, and expose simulation state.
🎯 Requirements
- Extensive professional C++ development experience in performance-critical software.
- Experience shipping commercial game/engine/real-time systems.
- Ownership of foundational engine systems beyond gameplay or tooling.
- Experience with physics engines, ECS, job systems, and runtime scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of data-oriented design, memory, and performance-sensitive data structures.
- Proficient in profiling and debugging for CPU/memory issues and bottlenecks.
