Job Description
📋 Description
- Install, commission, operate, and troubleshoot generator excitation systems, digital electronic
- Configure, modify, and troubleshoot hardware and software for turbine and generator control systems.
- Interpret software documentation, modify control constants, and adjust sequencing to support
- Implement excitation control system software changes across legacy and modern operator interfaces
- Diagnose issues using analog/digital controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and turbine auxiliary systems.
- Provide technical direction for wiring installation, checks, and troubleshooting of turbine
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years’ relevant experience, or at least 5 years’
- Relevant experience in power plant/maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, installation
- Successful completion of technical/company training programs.
- Experience supporting power plant installations and outages; ability to work independently with
- Desirable experience with gas turbine driver control systems and auxiliary systems.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, controls, PLCs, analog/digital controls, and turbine control tech.
