• Evolve the core agent harness powering Perplexity’s flagship answer experience.
• Combine single- and multi-agent engineering to improve orchestration, context management
• Translate user needs and insights into system improvements and developer experience.
• Ensure observability, evaluation, and reproducible failures for scalable AI at global scale.
• Support training and evaluation of new models through the harness.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years building and shipping large-scale AI systems with high reliability.
• Strong software craftsmanship with focus on developer experience and future-proof systems.
• Proficiency with Python. Bonus for Rust and cloud infra (AWS, Kubernetes).
• BS, MS, or PhD in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
